Our Japanese dinner features seasonal seafood, with dishes that vary according to your plan and the day’s ingredients. Dinner is served in a private dining room, separate from your guest room. Japanese breakfast is served in a shared dining hall.

For a stay with dinner, please contact us before booking if you expect to arrive late. If you have a food allergy or dietary requirement, ask us in advance whether we can accommodate it; a request is not a confirmed arrangement.

Relax in a tatami room. Guest rooms are non-smoking, with free Wi-Fi. Towels, yukata robes, a refrigerator and a hair dryer are provided.

Rooms with a private bathroom and toilet are listed on our website. Check the exact room description when booking, including bedding, bathroom facilities and the number of guests it accommodates.

All guest rooms are on the second floor.

Bring your bicycle through the main entrance to our indoor storage area. A pump with a pressure gauge and maintenance tools are available.

  • Washing machine and detergent: free to use.
  • Dryer: ¥100 per 30 minutes.
  • Outdoor footwear is available for a stroll after your ride.

We are in the Miyaura area, near Oyamazumi Shrine. Set Ryokan Sawaki as your destination when planning your ride, and allow time to reach the inn before dinner if your plan includes it.

By car

Leave the Shimanami Kaido at Omishima Interchange and head towards Oyamazumi Shrine. The inn is approximately a 15-minute drive from the interchange.

By bus from Imabari

Choose a service towards Miyaura Port that stops at Oyamazumi Jinja-mae (大山祇神社前). The inn is approximately a 3-minute walk from this stop. Check the destination and operating days before boarding.

Setouchi Bus: current timetable (Japanese)

By bus from Onomichi or Fukuyama

From Onomichi, travel via Innoshima Ohashi and connect to an Imabari-bound Shimanami Liner. From Fukuyama, take an Imabari-bound Shimanami Liner. Get off at Omishima Bus Stop (大三島BS), then transfer towards Miyaura Port and get off at Oyamazumi Jinja-mae.

Omishima Bus Stop is a transfer stop, not the stop beside the inn. Check connections for your travel date.

Before you book

How do I book in English?

Use the booking button, choose your dates and enter all guests, including children. Select your room and plan, review the conditions, then follow the booking website’s instructions. Check that you receive a reservation confirmation.

Can I stay with children?

Families are welcome. The booking website asks for children’s ages and whether meals and bedding are needed. Enter these details for each child. If you are unsure which option to choose, email us before booking.

Is dinner included in every booking?

No. Check the meal inclusions of your selected plan. If you would like to dine at the inn, select a plan that explicitly includes dinner.

Can you cater for allergies or a vegetarian diet?

Please contact us before booking and describe your requirements, including whether fish-based stock is suitable. We will need to confirm what is possible before you choose a meal plan.

What should I do if I will arrive late?

Contact the inn with your expected arrival time. If you have booked dinner, confirm your arrival arrangements in advance.

How do I change or cancel my booking?

For a reservation made through our official booking website, use the link below. For bookings made elsewhere, contact the website or agency you used. Cancellation conditions are those shown for your reservation.
